A Hero's Legacy episode 6

It was a new day and Kyo and Rio were both sitting outside, staring at the sky and Star was still inside the house, Kyo looked at the house, he still didn't trust Star even though she has helped him with everything.

The way she knew about the past, how the sword works, how to use the Spirit Gem and knew how many there were, it didn't quite add up to 100% trust, it only made her a suspicious individual.

"What's wrong, Kyo?" Rio asked, looking at her brother with worried eyes. "Nothing, Rio, I'm fine" Kyo replied, not turning to meet his sister's gaze.

After a few minutes Star walked out of the building, smiling softly at the two siblings. "Good morning~" she said happily.

"Good morning" Rio said shyly while Kyo remained silent.

"Kyo, you need some work on your personality" the blonde girl giggled.

(Short time skip)

The group was walking in the woods, making their way towards the next town, Star was leading the way while Kyo and Rio stayed close behind.

During the whole walk, Kyo kept his eyes on Star, he didn't care how nice she appeared, he was gonna make her reveal her true colors.

Once they arrived at their destination, Kyo looked around. The town wasn't fancy or anything it looked like a pretty old place, the townspeople were dressed in clothes that made them look homeless, and everyone was wandering around barefoot.

"Welcome travelers" an old man greeted walking up to them. "Hello" Star bowed and so did Rio.

"Welcome to our small town, my name is Roshi. I'm the elder here" he said giving a kind smile. Star and Rio smiled back, Kyo just kept his usual cold expression.

"We're just passing through" Star told him, Roshi nodded. "If you need anything feel free to ask the townspeople" with that old man left.

The trio walked through town and soon saw something quite interesting. A bunch of girls were swarming a young looking boy.

"How lame" Kyo said, catching the boy's attention. "Hey don't be jealous" he chuckled, walking towards the group of three. The boy had short brown hair and crimson brown eyes, wearing a black jacket with a red shirt and black jeans, he also had two gun holsters.

Based on how he was dressed he seemed like a player who gets the girls no matter what. "My name is Tyler, the coolest guy you'll ever see~" he said with confidence.

"I don't care" Kyo said, making Star giggle.

"You have a smart mouth, me and you let's have a little one on one" Tyler and with a smirk.

"That escalated quickly" Star said.

"Fine" Kyo said walking to the forest, everyone else following behind them.

Once they got to the forest Tyler pulled out his guns and Kyo drew his sword. "Let's make this quick" Kyo said.

"Trust me I will" Tyler declared and charged at Kyo.

"Those guns are perfect for long range attacks, which is good since Kyo would be forced to get closer." Star said, closely watching the battle, "yet he moves in for hand to hand combat, interesting"

Tyler leaped into the air, swiftly bringing his leg down for a drop kick. Kyo avoided the attack and swung his sword, though Tyler blocked it with his guns.

"Don't think you'll be able to slice my guns, they have a special type of magic that makes them indestructible" Tyler explained and jumped back, "take this!"

He started shooting at Kyo, who used his sword to block the approaching bullets.

"I'll admit you're pretty good but now it's time to heat things up!" Tyler put his guns back and jumped in the air, creating fireballs in his hands.

'Fire magic huh?' Kyo thought as he leaped into the air. Tyler threw fireballs at Kyo, getting irritated as he dodged them.

Kyo swung his sword and multiple shards of ice made their way towards Tyler.

"Crap!" He said creating a shield of fire but Kyo was prepared for that, he teleported behind Tyler and kicked him down to the ground.

Tyler hit the ground with great force, coughing up a little bit of blood Kyo quickly approached him, pointing his sword at Tyler's throat.

"I win" he said simply and put his sword away, Tyler glared at him and stood up.

"That was a pretty nice battle" Star said, "I do wish that it should have been longer but oh well."

Rio ran up to her brother and smiled at him "You were amazing"

"Thanks" Kyo said patting her head.

"That was nice, I've never seen anyone better than Tyler" Roshi said approaching the group. "Old man Roshi! You were watching?" Tyler asked a bit surprised.

"Of course I was" the old man chuckled, "now let's get back to town"

(Time skip)

Everyone was sitting in Roshi's house and he told some pretty neat stories but once he started talking about the Legendary Hero he caught Star and Kyo's attention.

"You know about that?" Star asked, the man nodded. "Yes I do, it's quite well known around here"

"I see, well I guess it's time for me to ask this question. Star, why do you know so much about the battle that took place 400 years ago? And why do you know so much about the Spirit Gems?" Kyo asked looking at her with a series glare.

Star giggled. "Because my father was an archeologist and he discovered these things and told me about them"

"If that's the case how did you know that I was the reincarnation of the Legendary Hero?"

That question is what made star go silent, Kyo drew his sword and pointed it at her. "Your silence tells me that you can't be trusted"

"K-kyo..?" Rio said looking at her brother.

"Hey I don't know what's going on but you should never point a weapon at a pretty lady" Tyler said.

"Shut up" Kyo said, his eyes locked on the girl in front of him. "Well, are you gonna speak up?" He asked her.

A smirk grew on Star's face and she started laughing. "It's about time a dumbass like you figured it out!" She said and her body was engulfed in fire.

Once the fire went away Star's appearance completely changed, her blonde hair turned black, her blue eyes turned red and her outfit had changed as well.

She was wearing a black top that showed a small bit of her stomach and was wearing a red skirt with some black stripes on it.

Everyone was shocked except for Kyo, who still had his sword pointed at her.

"Don't think I'm afraid of you boy" she laughed, "but if you wanna fight then prepare to die~"

Star's body was once again engulfed in flames but Kyo sensed something the girl smirked and Kyo jumped to his sister.

"Hahaha~!" Star laughed and there was a huge explosion.
